Financial Analyst I
POSITION
Summary:
The Financial Analyst I is responsible for assisting in the preparation of analysis, review and reporting of all financial measures to provide timely, accurate and reliable information to the business and assigned internal customer groups.
Position entails direct contact with internal and external customer groups as assigned.

Prepare and analyze financial measures for specific customer groups (CAA:
Product pricing, programs and profitability; Other:
Departmental operating budgets and forecasting.
Conduct appropriate market and industry research to support key business initiativesAnalyze and prepare recommendations for management and internal customer group leadership to be used to support business initiatives.
Facilitate preparation and administration of financial agreements/commitments from information provided by internal customer groups as necessary.
Perform general accounting duties including, but not limited to, journal entries, account reconciliation and customer reconciliation.
Monitor and assure customer compliance.
Preparation of monthly reporting and ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
Manage intake of and maintain customer or supplier contracts, profiles, and data to support future analysis and business decisions.
Develop requests for information or proposal.
Monitor and assure business process compliance.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in business with emphasis in Accounting or Finance.

years of experience in financial analysis.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated skill in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting and analysis.
Aptitude for utilization of computer technology including MS applications and ERP solutions, SAP experience preferred.
Experience in Commercial Food Service Industry strongly preferred.
