Residential Counselor - PT- Days - Omegon

Position Status -
Starting pay $14.00 per hour wage increase at six months employment

This position is responsible for working directly with adolescents to provide for their care, welfare, safety, and protection as they take their journey to undergo treatment in accordance with program goals. Residential Counselors implement appropriate treatment plans and goals that are suitable to the age and functionality of the individual as well as document a client's progress throughout their stay. The counselor guides residents and sets limits to manage behavior, including using crisis intervention techniques when needed.
This is an entry-level position that provides opportunities for professional development (training provided) in the areas of applied behavior analysis, human services and working with children with mental health and chemical dependency needs. Experience:
High School Diploma/GED
Other Skills/Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Must be 21 years of age
Must pass criminal/DHS background check
Experience working with adolescents preferred, but not requiredProgram DescriptionOur Omegon facility, located in the West Metro Area, near highways 394 and 169, provides chemical dependency and psychiatric residential treatment for adolescents ages 12 to 17 in a trauma-informed setting. A Residential Counselor participates as a critical member of our interdisciplinary team of professionals and provides direct services to teens with chemical dependency and psychiatric needs.About the Organization

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
