Job Overview:
This position provides general accounting support to the account managers and department director. Majority of work entails processing invoices, preparing AR edits and JE. Period end review of invoices and accounts.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Process Invoices. Review AP detail and identify invoices that have not been paid which need to be accrued. Review AP detail and identify invoices that have not been paid which need to be accrued.
Set up AR Edits to bill stores. Maintain income and expense period spreadsheet. Research Billing Inquiries.
Create and perform journal entries. Prepare period end accrual request.
Set up Perm decks and adjust as needed.
Process check requests for postage and other advertising needs.Update and maintain program participation lists.
Insure proper tax codes are in the system.
Create vendor charge backs as required. Resolve and correct vendor chargeback disputes.
Set up IT requests for department individuals.
Job Requirements:
Reading, writing, math and communication skills at a proficient level.
Knowledge of SUPERVALU accounting systems desirable.
Proficient in operation of ten-key/computer keyboard essential.
Math skills at a proficient level.
Computer skills: word processing and/or spreadsheet.
