Duties and
Responsibilities:
This list includes but is not limited to the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
1.
Follow recipe blending instructions to accurately issue materials by lot and physically mix/blend recipes/batches.
2.
Maintain accurate inventory lots and storage conditions for ingredients.
Notify management of any discrepancy.
3.
Complete required Batch & SSOP Documentation.
Operate Refractometer and record accurate brix.
Conduct organoleptic testing on every batch.
4.
Complete CIP/COP circuits including chemical checks, hand washing and other all steps of SSOPs.
5.
Use WMS to Pick and Stage Batches by FIFO.
6.
Operate all Mix & Blending equipment including Forklift, safely according to SOPs and SSOPs.
Report any mechanical issues to the Mix Room Manager or Maintenance Staff.
7.
Knowledge of company Food Safety, Food Quality and HACCP rules and requirements.
May need to stop production and make Management or QC aware of any and all Food Safety or Food Quality issues.
8.
Unload tankers as needed following all safety procedures.
9.
Maintain communication with Mix Room manager, maintenance, and QC.
To ensure production standards are being met.

Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:

Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one- on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Skills:
Basic Math skills to convert units of measure as needed and adhere to schedule to complete jobs.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of general.
Microsoft Office Suite, and WMS systems experience preferred.
