Location Description Hopkins, MN is home to our Michael Foods, Inc.
corporate headquarters.
Hopkins is located 7 miles west of Minneapolis, boasting natural surroundings in a suburban environment that also provides quick access to major travel ways and local restaurants that give our community a distinct character.

Responsibilities This position is responsible for managing and growing the National Account business of all the Michael Foods, Inc.
operating companies.
This role will execute the organization's value proposition and business strategies as it pertains to MFI's business plan and priority initiatives.
The assigned National Account chains are located primarily in the western and southwestern regions of the United States.
Manage all sales and service responsibilities for assigned National Account customers to include R&D, Marketing, QA, Operations, Supply Chain and Purchasing.
Develop and maintain meaningful relationships within assigned Accounts to include Senior-level corporate executives and MFI leadership.
Develop and coordinate custom products that meet a specific need for targeted customers.
Responsible for a complete understanding of the Michael Foods departments, including R&D, Supply Chain, Demand Planning and understanding / delivering Market Conditions.
Responsible for negotiating strategic contracts and pricing programs within established parameters.
Responsible for becoming a sales specialist in all the Michael Foods value added product lines.
Responsible for periodic business plans, goals and MBO's as well as monthly activity reports.
Actively participate in the Michael Foods Demand Planning process to provide business intelligence and to review data and analytics in collaboration with the Supply Chain team.
Required over-night travel:
30-40%.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree Minimum 10 years sales experience in food industry with an emphasis on National Accounts.
Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations including a broad understanding of culinary applications.
Strong presentation skills to include market and commodity conditions.
Excellent oral and written communication as well as problem-solving and decision making skills.
Highly motivated and self-directed individual able to work in a fast-paced, independent environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to cooperate, coordinate, direct and inspire the productivity of others, and lead cross-functional teams within the organizaton and key customers.
Ability to prioritize objectives, anticipate situations and take quick action.
Computer skills required:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in business management or food science.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
